take two. i'm just getting started in the "blogosphere" and i'm having a bit of a hard time. my first entry was just deleted on account of my misunderstanding the interface. the gist of it was simply that this is my first attempt at weblogs and i'm not sure what to include. i would like to thank sara* and joel achenbach for their inspiration in starting this weblog. let's hope this gets posted. i'm sick of writing out what a neophyte i am.
